I'm studying Magento and have run into a strange phenomenon in the coding of the default.phtml file (path: site.com/app/design/frontend/rwd/default/template/checkout/cart/item/default.phtml). It looks like the if-statement on line 122:
<?php if ($this->helper('tax')->displayCartPriceExclTax() || $this->helper('tax')->displayCartBothPrices()): ?>
is exactly the same as the if-statement on line 164:
<?php if ($this->helper('tax')->displayCartPriceInclTax() || $this->helper('tax')->displayCartBothPrices()): ?>
Both are nested within the if-statement in the else statement on line 120 and I can't find a reason why these statements wouldn't cause both table data tags to be shown in the rendered document.
Anyone know what's going on here? Am I going crazy? Here's the full code for reference.
