Need some help with a project to move products and customers from a Magento 1 to Magento 2 store.

I've gotten to the point where im ready to use the Data Migration Tool but it wont accept my settings.

Ive followed the instructions mainly from here.

Found a solution was to take the LIVE Magento 1 DB and replicate it on local. As they were both on LocalHost, finally got the tool to connect. Seems like it didnt like an IP address as .

Hope that helps someone.

You need to direct the path file config to the absolute path.
