I am facing issue that If I am accessing directory in magento like /media (Which is already secured by .htaccess file ) showing default magento icon even though my website favicon is different.

E.g. favicon is displayed by default on magneto demo website where actuall I wanted to change favicon

I have tried to view source but no HTML source is available.

Any one suggest me how I can resolved this issue or how I can configure favicon for this path ?
