when toggle format what by license comment
Aug 15, 2019 at 18:10 comment added Toan Tam Yes, good luck with that. I think there is some custom module that causes the issue.
Aug 15, 2019 at 18:03 comment added joeybab3 I'm not sure what could be the cause, I will have to look more into which session/quote it is using to try and apply that too because it has to be possible on my instance to apply a coupon code as it does work in some cases. I guess its just a matter of figuring out what the difference is between the Magento core code and mine that doesn't let mine work.
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:58 comment added Toan Tam This is the video showing how I tested it drive.google.com/file/d/1cetpF_3P3VLEaCz38OUna71AgbVPfjD4/view Btw, you can test it on this site jm.bolt.devzn.com
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:56 comment added joeybab3 Unfortunately, it's on a local instance and I don't think I am able to port forward
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:55 comment added Toan Tam Is this on your localhost instance? Do you have a remote instance so I can test?
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:54 comment added joeybab3 Yes, I accessed it via chrome with the url similar to how I commented it above
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:52 comment added Toan Tam Did you access to that file via the web browser?
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:41 comment added joeybab3 Apologies, I've had that directory for so long I forgot it wasn't a built-in one, yes it is at the webroot, it is essentially website . com / misc / applycoupon.php.
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:38 comment added Toan Tam I mean like this screencast.com/t/C9TmMNenot8 Where is your misc directory? Did you access to that file via the browser?
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:32 comment added joeybab3 What do you mean by the webroot folder, I have it in the misc directory currently.
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:31 comment added Toan Tam I tested it and it worked fine on my end. Did you try to create a file in the webroot folder and then testing it?
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:15 comment added joeybab3 Yes, I cut and pasted all parts of your code but replaced $couponCode with my own variable that I know contains a working code because it can be passed through the url to be applied.
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:14 comment added Toan Tam Did you use the correct coupon code instead of "COUPON_TEST"?
Aug 15, 2019 at 17:09 comment added joeybab3 Unfortunately, this did not apply a coupon code for me it still has no coupon code when getting to checkout :(
Aug 15, 2019 at 16:51 comment added joeybab3 Rather than echo $couponcode, it might be better to echo $quote->getCouponCode() since that's usually where I figure out it didn't set correctly but thanks I will try this now.
