In your case in the getSelect() could be:

->getSelect(IF)->where('Your"(`supplier_id` attribute'= '1' AND `product_type` = 'first_type') LIKEOR 'Value'(`supplier_id` = '2' AND `product_type` = 'another_type')");

$collection->getSelect()
