Three days were spent investigating and addressing those hiccups, and I can now share my newly found knowledge of the possible problems arising from updating Magento to 1.9. First of all, Magento 1.9+ relies completely on cron jobs to send transactional emails. If you didn’t have cron jobs set up properly before, you are going to have to do it now. First ...

The new 1.9.1 Email System leverages two database tables to queue, process, and log transactional order confirmation emails sent after customers checkout: core_email_queue This stores data relating the emails that are sent for order confirmations core_email_queue_recipients - This stores the email addresses of the recipients of the emails stored in ...

you have to load product to get thumbnail and url . <?php $objectManager = \Magento\Framework\App\ObjectManager::getInstance(); $product = $objectManager->create('Magento\Catalog\Model\Product')->load($_item->getProduct()->getId()); echo $product->getThumbnail(); echo $product->getProductUrl(); ?> //get image url $imagewidth=...

For {{template config_path="design/email/footer"}} the path for the footer file is app/locale/your_langauage/template/email/html/footer.html For any css related changes you can add your style rules in below file skin/frontend/YOURPACKAGE/YOURTHEME/scss/email-inline.scss

As you specified in your question that you have disabled Order Confirmation email from backend, I have assumed the same and write code in such a way that email will not sent twice even if you have enabled Order Confirmation email from backend. So, Order Confirmation Email will only sent from success page when you have disabled it from backend. To send email ...

The attribute thumbnail will give you the filename of the image to use as a thumbnail for the product. There's no constraints on the size of that image though and you're trying to resize the image using the style attribute. If you look through the magento source you'll see that you need to use the image helper to resize it, for instance in app/design/...

You have to put check invoice exist for the order. because mostly after payment invoice is created. if($order->hasInvoices()): $this->_helper->sendSms( $this->username, $this->password, $this->senderId, $this->destination, $this->message ); ...

Look very carefully to your var/log/system.log. In my case, I was missing some important information there and the problem was Redis. The session was being locked by some other process and didn't allow Magento to update the cart/quote session there. I just noticed that when added a breakpoint to \Magento\Checkout\Controller\Onepage\Success::execute and ...

Have you setup the cron job for Magento? Because beginning with Magento 1.9 email is now processed with the Magento cron job. Please follow through the bellow tutorial to solve your email issue. http://adeelishfaq.com/magento-orders-email-sending-issue/

Try this. echo Mage::getModel('catalog/product_media_config') ->getMediaUrl( $product->getThumbnail() );

To resolve this you need to check a few places. What happens most of the time is that a developer while testing will add his or her email to ensure that the checkout process is working properly but they often forget to remove themselves once the project is done. From the Admin Panel: STEP 1 Go to System -> Configuration Under "General" select -> "Store ...

if you are using the 1.9.x.x magento version, the order confirmation mail is sent by the Magento cron system. Please be sure to have the cron setted up properly. To make a quick check you can call the cron "manually" invoke the following link: www.yourmagento/cron.php

See this file: Mage_Germansetup_Block_Imprint_Content When Magento doesn't find the right module, it automatically looks into Mage. However, the Germansetup module is located in the Firegento folder. First ensure the Firegento/Germansetup/Block/Imprint/Content.php exists. Then looks into the etc/config.xml of the module and find the piece of code that ...

I've tried this code myself, its working. override vendor/magento/module-sales/view/frontend/templates/email/items/order/default.phtml and use this code in it: <?php /** * Copyright © 2016 Magento. Order confirmation emails were not sending to customer or us. Checked cron jobs under cpanel and it was empty. My test site worked fine so checked cron jobs to find this setting and instantly 60 emails came in once I set it in live site. Hope this helps someone, drove me crazy. min: 0,26,42,58 hour:* Day:* Month:* Weekday:* Command: php /home/username/...

Ok, so we had the same problem, after card payment on PG instead of landing on success page there was a redirect to empty cart (order was successful). Reason was session was cleared as well. Main cause for that happen to be full_page cache being flushed. Why that happened, since that page shouldn't be in fpc? Well, magento and its fantastic di system. We ...

I found a solution. The problem was that $this->checkoutSession->getLastSuccessQuoteId() $this->checkoutSession->getLastQuoteId() this->checkoutSession->getLastOrderId() Somehow were lost before paypal redirects to /checkout/onepage/success. When the order is created, I pass the id of the order to the /checkout/onepage/success. Than I: ...

You can check if $order->getTaxAmount(); is the VAT amount of your orders, if so then you can subtract this amount from grand total like $order->getGrandTotal()-$order->getTaxAmount() if there will be some difference after subtracting then check for $order->getHiddenTaxAmount() FYI, PHP code to subtract a percentage from a value : $amount=20; ...

Can you try sending a Magento order conformation directly to the email address listed on https://www.mail-tester.com/? Mail tester will analyse the results and rate your email from 1 to 10 (with 1 being the worst). Can you edit your question with the found issues, so we can see if they are Magento related?

I would suggest to change it from transaction email section. If you have customised default new order email template then you can simply go to System > Transactional Email then open the new order template then find the Payment Method section and add inline css. For ex: ///head part <th align="left" width="325" bgcolor="#EAEAEA" style="font-size:...

This issue could be related to the new Magento Email Queue system, that leaves orphan records on the Recipients table. If this is your issue, I've sent a fix on this post: https://magento.stackexchange.com/a/87299/23057

Please check if this setting in Admin: Store > Configration > Sales > Sales Emails > General Settings > Asynchronous sending > If this is enabled Magento instead of sending the email when the order is placed, adds an entry in a queue table (core_email_queue), and then a cron job comes, reads all the entries from the queue and sends the ...

I solved this problem by deleting orders (actual orders, not order queue) from the cron_schedule in the database and putting my website 'asynchronous sending' on disabled

In magento 1.9.1.0 there is email queue table. In previous magento versions most probably you can find only was email sent or not. In tables sales_flat_* (order/invoice/shipment) there is such field as 'email_sent'. Which has only true/false value. The email address you can also find in same table.
