If your Magento setup is still compromised at some point so you should carefully check Magento + Webserver settings. You cannot trust your installation if it was compromised. The ultimate way to go would be a new & clean setup of all files on a new host with the latest backup before you shop was compromised. If this is not possible, consider the ...

Magento 2 Enterprise Cloud comes with 3 envoirnments setup by detault Integration , Staging and Production. In integration environment you only have 2 caching option available Bulit-in and Varnish, however in staging and production you have one more caching option Fastly CDN available. What I believe you will be seeing is what I have seen when I initially set up a single Redis instance for both cache and session. I was seeing a random 2.5 second timeout when accessing the session data and found a couple of great articles from Colin Mollenhour and Fabrizio Branca on these sorts of issues. TL;DR - use different Redis instances for cache, ...

Please disable the following in the CloudFlare dashboard: Disable JS minification Disable RocketLoader Disable Mirage That should solve the issues, if it doesn't please do come back on here. Make sure your site is SSL throughout to receive the performance benefits of HTTP/2 through CloudFlare. You can do this by adding a CloudFlare Page Rule.

You could keep checkout on a separate node that might have better hardware, since rest of the front end part is more or less protected by Varnish and as such so you might just want to treat checkout differently in terms of the hardware you throw at it.

According to this: http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.2/config-guide/prod/prod_file-sys-perms.html To update components, install new components, or to upgrade the Magento software, all of the preceding directories must be read-write. So during upgrade and compile and static deploy they of course need write permission but after those are done you can ...

Magento Cloud Enterprise files are locked within a read-only filesystem, with the exception of several files that should be writable by Magento 2 at runtime (logs, error reports, caches [if not in Redis]). Also the generated/ folder and the pub/static/ folder and their content are fully write protected. Your website should run in production mode and all ...

I had the same problem while setting up the Magento Cloud Edition on the local machine. While running the composer update I was getting the above error. It seems to be some kind of configuration error or some composer related issue. There is a trace of the same issue on the Magento Forum and on Magento2 Github Issue tracker. https://github.com/magento/...

No official community cloud edition If you chose CE the closest you are going to get us using a cloud based hosting provider. Just search cloud hosting. Although potentially this is just another way of saying shared hosting. The idea behind cloud hosting is that it is easily upscalable as your business grows. The difference in Magento terms is the same ...

Im afraid you cant do that on cloud. The deployment is automatic by ece-tools package . [Cloud Info] ece-tools package The ece-tools package is a scalable deployment tool that simplifies the Cloud upgrade process. In 2018, we deprecated the magento-cloud-configuration and ece-patches packages in favor of providing a single package. We encourage all ...

You should change the version compare to the following: if (version_compare($context->getVersion(), "1.0.7", "<")) { It's because the current version is 1.0.6, in your original version compare, it return false result so your script do not run. !!BUT!! Class EntitySpecificHandlesList comes from version 2.2.x and doesn't exist below 2.2.x. So definitely it would be the exception.

I was able to accomplish something similar (although, not on Magento Commerce Cloud) by creating a plugin for the method: Magento\Store\Model\StoreResolver::getCurrentStoreId() In my case, if no store is set (new visitor), I am choosing the store to show based on custom logic with $this->getStore(). public function aroundGetCurrentStoreId(\Magento\...

I believe you have confused between read-only for filesystem and read-only for database. For file-system, you have read only permission (e.g. you can not edit or create new file after SSH'ed on the server). For database, you do have write permission for the master database. They are introducing slave database (which is a replica of the master database - ...

To cover the question in details. I'll break them into multiple sections. 1. Clone the environment to your local This is not possible that I've known of, you are expected to set up your own local development environment. More information regarding the software version on Magento Cloud can be found here: http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.2/cloud/project/...

Here is how it will work. Upload images to google cloud and point your CNAME (gcdn.example.com) to google cloud end point. Go to system > configuration > web > unsecure/secure. Change your media url to gcdn.example.com/media.

You should rely on magento/magento-cloud-metapackage as specified in the cloud template. The version of magento/magento-cloud-metapackage is identical to that of magento/product-enterprise-edition. Internally, the metapackage consists of magento/product-enterprise-edition as well as appropriate magento/magento-cloud-configuration (referred to as MCC) ...

I got it: In the config for your stores, just enter the URLs as they are, not the install URL. Then, on the alternative domain (otherstore.com), use the default htaccess (when it is in root, otherwise add rewrite in htaccess)and put just this inside the index.php: require __DIR__ . '/app/bootstrap.php'; $params = $_SERVER; $params[\Magento\Store\Model\...

From the Google website: Preemptible VMs offer the same machine types and options as regular compute instances and last for up to 24 hours. This is an interesting concept. I'm sure you've gathered from their sales pitch that the aim/purpose of using these instances is to aid with one-off jobs, running reports or as you say - bigger cron jobs. This type ...

From the description it sounds like you would not want to use these to host a site: "Compute Engine might terminate preemptible instances at any time due to system events." and "Compute Engine always terminates preemptible instances after they run for 24 hours." In that case, your site would be down - unless perhaps you're using this as one node in a ...

The following setup on Amazon is optimal for what your requirements 1) Single instance on Ec2 2) Single RDS instance connected to Ec2 (Database) As you scale I would highly recommend adding REDIS via ElasticCache Varnish is a great win and I am assuming you are using a module. You charges are going to be related to traffic, but your varnish should allow ...

Is there something we can do to improve performance? Is the following hardware/software sufficient? vCPUs/Ghz 2 / 1.8Ghz No, your CPU clock speed is extremely slow. The solution: If gzip is enabled in your php-fpm this causes PHP to always give compressed output regardless of .htaccess settings. So what happens is that Cloudflare receives this compressed output and interprets it wrongly, thinking the file is bigger than what is delivered and therefore the download never completes and at some point gets broken. The ...

Are you definitely storing cache, fpc and sessions in redis. check var/cache, var/full_page_cache and var/session directories to ensure files are not being written there. Also Cm_RedisSession is included in EE but disabled by default, make sure it is enabled in etc/modules/Cm_RedisSession.xml
