Questions about product categories in the Magento catalog
Any questions related to the Mage_Catalog categories.
Each store group has a category tree with a specified root category. Other (hidden) category trees can exist without being assigned to a store group.
Categories and products have a n:m relation. Categories are implemented using the eav model, with an optional flat index.
