We are migrating from 1.7 to 1.9.4. In the past we have customized the catalog search. We get correct results in suggestion while typing, but if we hit enter, by exact sku or by alike we get 0 results.
catalogsearch_fulltext have contents. If we check a query in catalogsearch_query, the column num_results is always 0 for new search terms. For old search terms the num_results indicates correctly many results. If we check at catalogsearch_result, the corresponding queries (by id) give the correct product_id.
- Search type is configured as LIKE
- Checked attribute configurations, everything seems ok
- Assigned all products to the main website
- Reindexed everything
- Cache cleaned
- Log error
