I have set up Varnish 4 in Centos 7 with Apache and Magento 2.4.2. Varnish is working fine but there is one issue we are facing is that. Every order or quote showing the same customer IP which is of the server in the IP address column of the Quote table.
I tried to add the code to add real IP to the header but it seems not working as well.
if(req.http.X-Real-IP) {
set req.http.X-Forwarded-For = req.http.X-Real-IP;
}
Please let me know if there is a need to install a proxy if yes then how? I am unable to find many articles about Varnish With Apache setup which guide about Proxy for real Customer IP as well.
Attached Below is the default.vcl file
