After upgrading from Magent0 2.3.5-p to 2.3.6 the category pages are blank.

System specs.

PHP 7.3 Elastic Search 7.13

Checking the error logs shows the following error.

Stack trace:
#0 /vendor/magento/module-catalog-search/Model/Layer/Filter/Attribute.php(104): Magento\Eav\Model\Entity\Attribute\Frontend\AbstractFrontend->getSelectOptions()

Checks done, as follows.

  • Elastic search is running and shows search results
  • Product pages load without any problem
  • All products have an assigned source with inventory set to Manage Stock=No with positive stock
  • All categories are set to anchor, also tried to save as no anchor and then anchor
  • Categories have products associated with them
  • Indexes have been re-indexed, cache flushed and cleaned

I'm not sure what else to try and fix this problem.
