I have just successfully installed newly released Magento 2.4.2 on my local server(WAMP64) but it gives 404 when try to access frontned or backend.

Can someone please help me to fix this out?

Check that your webserver serves the requests from the proper location. it should be referencing the <magento_proj_folder>/pub folder as Document Root.

  • you fix the error by configuring your Apacje webserver from the WAMP install to serve the requests from the pub folder instead of the magento root folder as you most likely have it now.
