Initially when I accessed the extension manager, I had this error

Command "show" failed: GitHub API limit (0 calls/hr) is exhausted, could not fetch https://api.github.com/repos/splashlab/magento-2-cors-requests/tags?per_page=100. Create a GitHub OAuth token to go over the API rate limit. You can also wait until ? for the rate limit to reset. Head to https://github.com/settings/tokens/new?scopes=repo&description=Composer+on+server178.web-hosting.com+2020-09-02+1510 to retrieve a token. It will be stored in "/home/goldkuvc/idgigs.com/var/composer_home/auth.json" for future use by Composer. Token (hidden): No token given, aborting. You can also add it manually later by using "composer config --global --auth github-oauth.github.com " In RemoteFilesystem.php line 687: Could not authenticate against github.com show [--all] [-i|--installed] [-p|--platform] [-a|--available] [-s|--self] [-N|--name-only] [-P|--path] [-t|--tree] [-l|--latest] [-o|--outdated] [--ignore IGNORE] [-m|--minor-only] [-D|--direct] [--strict] [-f|--format FORMAT] [--] [ []]

Then after series of debugging I discovered my composer.json wasn't able to access the token given, then I included this "config": { "github-oauth": { "github.com": "my-token" } } in the composer.json file, then cleared the cache, when I tried access the Extension manager, it got stuck at "Please wait". What do I do Please??
