I'm working on a Magento 2.3.5 website with Smartwave Porto theme installed and I need to customize the top header menù that give access to the personal area. I need to customize the links in the dropdown menù displayed once you log-in to the website. I've already found a similar question here:

Magento2.2.5 change create account link in top right header

But the answer is not right for me since I don't need to create new custom inline links but just add or modify links present in the dropdown menù. Here is a snapshot of the personal area menù with the dropdown in action:

I've tried modifyng the file Magento_customer/layout/default.xml in my porto-child theme but with no success

    <page xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="urn:magento:framework:View/Layout/etc/page_configuration.xsd">
  <body>
    <referenceBlock name="header.links">
      <block class="Magento\Customer\Block\Account\Customer" name="customer" template="account/customer.phtml" before="-">
            <arguments>
                <argument name="label" xsi:type="string" translate="true">My orders</argument>
                <argument name="path" xsi:type="string" translate="true">sales/order/history/</argument>
            </arguments>
      </block>
      <block class="Magento\Customer\Block\Account\AuthorizationLink" name="authorization-link-login" template="account/link/authorization.phtml"/>
    </referenceBlock>
    <block class="Magento\Theme\Block\Html\Header" name="header" as="header">
      <arguments>
        <argument name="show_part" xsi:type="string">welcome</argument>
      </arguments>
    </block>
    <move element="header" destination="header.links" before="-"/>
    <move element="register-link" destination="header.links"/>
    <move element="top.links" destination="customer"/>
    <move element="authorization-link" destination="top.links" after="-"/>
  </body>
</page>

Hope to be clear, any help would be appreciated!
