I bought a theme but the support period has expired and they no longer respond to my emails.

The authentication popup did not work on the proceed to checkout button (mini-cart & cart).
I found this piece of code in app/design/frontend/[Vendor]/[theme]/Magento_Theme/layout/default.xml :

<referenceBlock name="authentication-popup" remove="true"/>

After override the layout, the popup appears correctly except on the home page. I try to remove all modules, also try with a fresh install.

Any idea?

  • please inspect element and check popup html is available Or not. maybe it is hide by CSS. – Pawan Apr 12 at 7:26
  • thanks for your help, it was actually hidden by a root.phtml file of the theme which has a home page builder. using a blank cms home page it works... for now I just removed the button from the mini-cart to use it in the cart page. I think they use their own authentication popup (I see ref in less files) but not working for me. – urbansurfers Apr 16 at 0:16
