I'm playing around with the Magento multi-store functionality and wondering on the best approach. If I create, for example, a store called foo_store and a store called bar_store, with store views of foo and bar respectively, I can set Magento to add a store code to the URL to reference these at https://example.com/foo and https://example.com/bar. This seems to work nicely, but is it better to follow the guidelines for creating subdirectories for each store? It seems that there might be issues if multiple languages were required, or if views were used for other purposes such as seasonal sales, etc. Is it better to create the subdirectory structure in advance or deal with it if it arises in the future?
