We already have one website(store) running in Magento 2 and now we plan to add one more website to it. For example one website serves the US while the other will serve CA.

We have created a new website from Magento admin for CA. But the US website include a number of custom modules being developed including theme, tax, shipping and payment gateway which we do not need in CA website since it is completely a new store with different products, product categories, customers, shipping, payment, etc

  1. Any advice on how to disable custom modules and theme for one website and keep it enable for another?
  2. Creating a Store Configuration value to disable functionality only for one store or website would work?
  3. We have geofencing enabled for US store which restricts user access if not authorized zip code? Will this work with multiple website?
