I am trying to update product stock quantity via CSV when I purchase new inventory.

So far I've been using the out-of-the-box Magento product import. It works but I wonder if there is a better way.

Let's say my store has 100 products. As you can imagine they sell at different rates. Today I buy new inventory for 10 products, increasing each by 5 units.

Currently, to update the inventory in Magento I need to: 1. Export a CSV of the product database 2. Manually adjust the quantity for each of the products for which I bought new inventory 3. Import the CSV back.

It works, but as you can see it is a lot of manual work, and there is a risk that while I am updating the CSV file, the quantity changes in the store due to a sale or other transaction.

Is it possible to import just a list of quantity updates (increase or decrease)? I'd be much easier and faster to prepare a CSV file that has just has the SKUs of the products with a number that indicates the change in stock.

I've been searching online and I haven't found a way to do this.

Thank you!
