I placed my custom theme in "app/design/adminhtml/fullpipeumbrella/" and in "skin/adminhtml/fullpipeumbrella/" and this is the code of the "./etc/theme.xml"

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<theme>
    <parent />
</theme>

The other only modification is this one in "./template/login.phtml":

<head>

<!-- [...] -->

    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('css/local.css') ?>" media="all" />

<!-- [...] -->

</head>
<body id="page-login" onload="document.forms.loginForm.username.focus();">
    <div class="login-container">
        PROVA <!-- "prova" means "test"... -->
        <div class="login-box">

I don't find enough (and clear) documentation to understand what I am missing.

Consider that I am aware that someone suggest to use another path for the "design" part of the theme. They usually suggest "app/design/adminhtml/default/fullpipeumbrella/" and I already tried it.

I am also aware that I have to enable it in the database someway and I tried to copy this implementation https://github.com/ajzele/Inchoo_AdminTheme and now, in my database that config is set:

config_id   scope   scope_id    path                value
1513        default 0           design/admin/theme  fullpipeumbrella

Though my simple modification does not show in the login page.
