All my pages work fine via http but after adding an SSL the secure pages such as login, checkout etc are now showing "The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

SOLVED!! i forgot to set my https load balancer listener to the HTTPS port. So it was routing https to http and back again.
