Magento 2 Custom filter of product list page not affecting layered navigation

Question

I have a filter in My list.phtml like below:

    $_productCollection = $block->getLoadedProductCollection();

This filter is working fine and filter product list but not changing the layered navigation filters.

I couldn't find ways to add filter to this block

@Hitesh Balpande. This solution doesn't work anymore in Magento 2.4.x EE because of Elastic search. And Class Magento\CatalogSearch\Model\Search\IndexBuilder is even removed.
