I have created three website views and three store views in magento2(English, French & German). I have uploaded the products through the default magento2 CSV import option and mapped them to all store views.

product_websites

french,english,german

Now I want to remove the existing product from the German store view. How to do it via Magento import option without Replace option like below

product_websites

french,english

Any help on this issue, please?

  • Did you try import with update option? Nov 20, 2019 at 6:34
  • I have tried updating product_websites. But it is updating values in the backend. Not removing an exsiting store view from the backend

  • Than i dont think without replace it'll work. You need to keep entire csv consistent as to what it was during primary import and just remove store view not required Nov 20, 2019 at 7:14

Go to: Admin panel -> System -> Data Transfer -> Import

for Entity Type select Products for Import Behavior select Delete

Select the csv file and run import procedure. Before doing steps above make backup of the database or export products. Do the import first on local/dev/staging environment. Create one dummy product for all websites and check if after delete import procedure the product will be deleted only for german website.
