• Request to convert to answer as comment whenever answer look like comment & also convert those as comment myself if user does not have enough reputation
• Upvote the Questions thus user can interest to put the question again in future at MSE
• Upvote answers those are good but old and can not score any point.

Greetings, my name is Brent Peterson. In 2009 I started as one of the original Magento Moderators and have served the Magento forums until their relaunch this year (I was the highest ranked contributor). Having started out as a developer I have now moved to a role of evangelist and coach and am again a moderator with Magento. In the last 6 years I have personally overseen 100's of Magento upgrades started with 1.0 and including the launch of Magento Enterprise and numerous upgrades from CE to EE.

In 2010 I changed roles to coach a Magento Solution Partner and helped build a team of developers who can resolve all sorts of Magento problems. In this role I often see problems that need to be solved and this gives me a particularly high level of insight to questions that need to be answered. Wading through some of the complicated details to come up with simple solutions are some of the most satisfying and exciting parts of working in Magento.

Last year I started presenting at Magento events on a variety of topics with the most important being aligning client expectations with what a developer or agency will deliver.

I am nominating myself because I am passionate about Magento.

I may not be the most active user or contributor on this StackExchange, but I give my best to support an inclusive environment, which especially supports new and inexperienced Users. And with the sometimes big amount of flaming they have to face for asking sometimes dumb, or bad formulated questions, they need some support. Also I am good in seeing what people are really want to know and can edit the questions to be understandable by others, instead of just voting to close them.

I am also easy to reach if i am needed and react on pings/notes via twitter, irc and everything else.

I also have always an eye on the topics in meta, and commented or even answered a lot there.

I would like to nominate myself for the role of moderator.

I feel I would be perfect for the job as I am active on the website and not only for the purpose of answering but also flagging, closing voting and bugging people to accept answers and turn good comments into answers.

I have raised some questions in Meta about tagging of questions and learned from my mistakes with regards to mess re-tagging.

Hi. I'm Ben. It's been my privilege to serve as moderator pro tempore. After receiving a few private messages on the matter, I'm throwing my hat in to the elected moderator pool.

In the Magento world I've been a developer & community member since 2008, a developer educator & Certification Advisory Board since 2011, and I now fill the evangelist role at Magento as an employee. I'm also the originator of the Magento SE proposal on Area 51, which I started based on my extensive participation on the magento tag at StackOverflow.

We're coming up on a new epoch in the Magento world with v2, and it's incredibly important to make sure that Magento SE continues to grow & improve as a resource for the ever-expanding community. Further, I think that we stand a chance to be a model for other SE sites going forward.

I wish there could be enough moderator slots to serve all of the people who deserve the role. There are several folks who do a lot for Magento SE every day, and I know that we're in capable hands no matter who's a mod.

Magento StackExchange finally out of beta, took a lot of hard work from all of us but we did it. I would like to nominate myself as moderator to keep making sure this forum will be as helpful and awesome as it was in the last few years.

I am a Magento Certified Developer and Solution Specialist from Germany, working with Magento since 2011. In this period I have managed and trained a few Magento teams and worked as freelance consultant.

Since the last MageStackDay I have been pushing forward the answer rate and went through "unanswered" questions from time to time to upvote good 0-score answers, remind posters to accept answers or ask if they found a solution

I also put some effort in organizing tags (add meaningful tags to new questions, create tag wikis, suggest synonyms) I check the review queues daily, even though there is never much to do because so many people help out clearing them.

I like to share my knowledge here and elsewhere, as active member on StackOverflow and formerly on the German PHP forum.

I edit questions if I understand what OP wants but could not articulate it clearly because of language barriers or lack of technical knowledge. But I draw the line when it comes to "help vampires" with a lazy and demanding attitude and will make use of the moderation tools to remove these kind of questions.

I decided to participate in the Moderator Election even though self-nomination feels a bit awkward.

I’ve been active on magento.stackexchange.com since it started, but especially during the last year. Some might remember my name from the MageStackDays I’ve organized together with Sander Mangel, Marius Strajeru and David Manners which was all about getting lots of questions answered but also working on people’s behavior of engaging with the platform (voting, flagging, closing,…).

I like Magento, good questions and good answers which makes this a pretty good place for me.
