Magento2: How to update the product price programatically

Question

I am using the below code to update the price but the price is not changing.

If you want to use SQL approach, You can use the following standalone script which can be run either via Web or CLI

I've been trying to find a script that would let me update the prices via their skus. I would generate a csv file with "sku";"new price" and then run the script against it. I haven't seen anything like it.
