I'm using Magento 2 CE Version 2.1.2
I have exported Sample CSV File from Magento Admin & importing the same file again. Then also it's not working for more than 1 record. If you have only 1 record, then it works fine.
Using attribute_set_code as Default
We have product_type column.

It's conflicting my custom Product Attribute which i named same product_type. Thanks to Magento Team for Pointing Out This Issue.
